Welcome

Dear Friends,
   It has been my privilege to serve the Lord at Black Forest Academy these last three years. I've had the opportunity to work alongside about 180 other faculty and staff members to teach and care for the children of missionaries all over the world. The Lord has blessed us with many things -- facilities, safety, each other -- and it has been good!
   During my first term, I served in the Music Department along with my colleagues. I really enjoyed the team and the opportunities to teach Music Appreciation, HS Guitar, HS Choir, MS Choir -- Handbells -- Handrums, Band, Pep Band and coach the Sign Language team. Outside of the music department I enjoyed helping in the dorms and participating in the community's band.
   I am currently home for the year and raising support to return to the school, the people, friends in the community - and Germany itself! I am currently at 32% of the support I need to return and there are 9 months left before, Lord-willing, I will fly back over the Big Pond.


   I pray the Lord is filling you up as you seek Him and pouring you out as you serve Him where you are...we are all on a mission field. It's about being faithful doing the next thing, whatever is in front of you, for His glory. The Lord's work will continue at BFA whether I return or not, but...I believe He is leading this way and opening doors -- so I follow and walk through them.
